Although the plot was somehow predictable, their acting were really top-tier, I couldn't help but feel depressed over their acting, especially Kyungsoo's. I gotta admit this movie took some time to actually make me care about anything that was on screen.
I understand that the older brother was crafted to be unlikable, but it looks like he did things just for the sake of doing it. After we start to peel some layers and get to know more about their history, the movie starts to show it has potential to be a good movie. I understand that we need to have them at odds in the first half to get the payoff at the end, but I wish the first part was done better. The actors are great and have chemistry together.
I really appreciate the fact that they didn't try to make Doo-young and the coach a thing. O through his performance as well. Every damn time. Thankfully the usual tropes aren't overdone, and it ends up being an incredibly sweet family drama.
